The CRX method
Understand before you execute
Most programmes tell you what to do. The CRX method explains why. Understanding how a muscle produces energy, how it is built and how it recovers changes the way you train, and what you have to show for it six months later.
The three movements
- 01
Comprehend
Anatomy, exercise physiology, energy systems. You know what each exercise is working, and why the order of movements matters.
- 02
Repeat
Progress comes from controlled repetition, not from permanent intensity. Load, volume and frequency are steered, measured and adjusted.
- 03
eXpect
The demand is on movement quality and consistency first. That is what makes results durable rather than spectacular for three weeks.
What happens inside the body
A client who understands what they are doing trains better, lasts longer and gets hurt less. These plates are part of the material handed over at the start of the coaching.
Energy inside the muscle
Blood brings oxygen and nutrients, the muscle produces usable energy, heat and waste. That cycle decides how long you can hold an effort, and how well you recover between sessions.
Muscles, anterior view
Knowing the front chains explains why an imbalance at the shoulder or the pelvis shows up across your whole posture.
Muscles, posterior view
The posterior chain is what improvised programmes forget. It is also what protects the back and produces most of the force.
Skeletal muscle structure
From tendon to sarcomere: understanding how fibres are organised explains why a muscle grows, why it needs rest, and why technique beats load.
Apply the method to your own case
The method is only worth something once it is adapted to your body, your history and your goal. That is exactly what the initial assessment is for.
